The Battle Of The Billboards

The 49ers were not happy with the banner that was flown over Candlestick Park two weeks ago during the Seahawks - 49ers game. They have decided to repay the Seahawks measure for measure.  

Through a website gofundme.com the 49ers  raised $8,700  for a billboard which they plan to put up.  The billboard will brag about the 49ers five super bowl wins taunting the Seahawks that haven't won any yet.  It will have their five super bowl trophies on it and in the background Dwight Clark and The Catch made in 1982 against Dallas Cowboys.  The caption of the banner will be "How many do you have" which will refer to the Seahawks lack of super bowl trophies.  Only $7,000 is needed for the billboard the rest will be donated to a charity.

The Seahawks are not sitting idly by watching.  One woman, Kyna Moore has launched a fundraising campaign in which she wants to raise $120,000 for the Seattle Childrens Hospital.  She wrote in a post on indiegogo.com that Russel Wilson visits children there every Tuesday.  She is hoping that someone would pay for a billboard "Thank you 12th man for your support" however the money that she will raise will not go towards that.
