NFL Will Receive Award For Suicide Prevention

The NFL has launched a website to prevent suicides after a number of football players have shown signs of depression and committed suicide.  The website NFL Life Line lists the warning signs of depression and suicide.  It also has a self check quiz and an online chat where players can chat with trained professionals.  The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention has been following it closely and will reward the NFL with the Humanitarian Award for their efforts.  On May 8,  Troy Vincent will be accepting the award on behalf of the NFL .
