Sons Follow in Football Fathers Footsteps

Cris Carter and Joe Montana are both former football players.  Their sons   Duron Carter and Nate Montana  would like to follow in their fathers footsteps.  Though they were not picked in the NFL draft this weekend both of them will have a second chance.

Carter turned down and invitation from Baltimore Ravens in order to participate in a three day mini camp for rookies with the Minnesota Vikings.   His father Cris  made eight straight Pro Bowls  with the Vikings  during his 16 year career.

Joe Montana led the San Francisco 49ers to four super-bowl victories.  His son will now be joining them for their three day rookie mini camp.  He has already participated in the  49ers  local pro day  earlier this month.  However in order to get to the NFL they will still need a contract and make it through the training camp.
