NCAA Unhappy With Lawsuit Filed Against Them

Governor Tom Corbett filed a lawsuit against the NCAA  saying that they sanctions that they imposed on Penn State after the Jerry Sandusky conviction violated antitrust laws.  The NCAA fined Penn State with $60 million fine and took away football scholarships from them.  In a letter last month two congressmen wrote that innocent students are being punished for crimes that they didn't commit.

The NCAA asked a judge to remove the lawsuit saying that the penalties brought out mixed feeling by many.  Some thought the penalties were too harsh and some thought it was too lenient however it didn't violate and anti trust laws.
