Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams stabbed in leg

Things have not been looking good for Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams.  His 2013 season finished early due to a torn hamstring but this is only the beginning of his troubles.  He is facing trespass and criminal charges and his neighbors have repeatedly complained about his loud parties.  It has gotten to a point where Bucs coach Lovie Smith told the press that he is disappointed in him.  "You have to be good on the field and off the field."

All this should have been more than enough on his plate however it looks like trouble runs after certain people.  The Hillsborough County Sherriff's office has confirmed  that Williams was stabbed in his thigh .  He is currently recuperating at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.  His brother is a suspect for allegedly being the one to stab him.

In a series of tweets Tampa Bay Buccanneers said that they are aware of the situation and are following it closely.  They are refraining from further comment until they get a better understanding of the situation.
