On December 8, 2012 former Cowboys player Josh Brent was driving with his friend Jerry Brown when the car crashed and flipped over killing Brown. His alcohol level at that time was .18 more than twice the legal amount of .08 .
At his trial a forensic expert testified that for his 325 lb. frame he had to drink about "17 standard size drinks" in order to reach the alcohol level of .18 . Brent denies that saying that he only drank five. More witnesses are expected to take the stand tomorrow to testify they saw him drink at a bar where he was partying with other Cowboys players.
Brent is facing 20 years in prison if convicted.
