Super bowl frenzy is in the air and there has been quite a few things going on this past week that has just made the excitement reach extremely high levels.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS TIDBITS
Seattle Seahawks player Derrick Coleman is the first hearing impaired player in the NFL. He has inspired a lot of people to overcome their disabilities. Two twin girls that are also hearing impaired saw a Duracell ad featuring Coleman. They wrote a letter to him that was posted on Twitter that went viral. Coleman responded via Twitter. "Even though we wear hearing aids we can still accomplish our goals and dreams." Good Morning America arranged a surprise meeting between them where Coleman surprised them again by giving them tickets to the Super Bowl.
Even though Boeing has already moved to Chicago they have still not forgotten their old neighbors in Seattle. On Wednesday Boeiing unveiled a 747 which was painted with the Seahawks colors.
The Seahawks fans are so excited that the team will be playing in the Super Bowl that they have already bought more tickets to the game than the Broncos fans.
The excitement reached all ages, literally. A Seahawks couple Kelly and Troy Mann were blessed with a little baby girl on January 27. They name their daughter "Cydnee Leigh 12th" and when you combine it with her last name Mann it sounds like The 12th Mann.
DENVER BRONCOS TIDBITS
Katina Smith and Minnie Pearl Thomas will be watching their son and grandson Demaryius Thomas playing for the Broncos on Sunday from prison. They are convicted drug traffickers. Smith told reporters "It will be a bittersweet situation. Sweet that my son made it to this point and bitter that I'm not there to celebrate this time in his life."
Colorado is proud of their team. They are so proud that they are renaming their highest mountain peaks for on day only. Super Bowl Sunday. The mountain will be named after current active Broncos players.
Both teams are working hard and the excitement is reaching a crescendo. This is definitely a Super Bowl to look forward to.
