David Wilson Will Undergo Neck Surgery

On October 6 during a game that the Giants played against Philadelphia David Wilson was hurt.  He will need to have surgery to repair a herniated disc in his neck.  The surgery that is scheduled for January 16 will take place at the Hospital for Special Surgery.  It will be performed by Dr. Frank Cammisa.

Wilson was a first round draft pick in 2012.  During an interview with WFAN, Giant's general manager Jerry Reese said that it is unclear whether Wilson will be able to play again.  "Our medical staff feels like he'll be ready to play this fall but the neck and back that's pretty tricky so you never know."
