Pouncey Served With A Subpoena

After Sunday night's game was over for the Patriots and Dolphins Mike Pouncey headed to the locker room.  Over there he met two officers from the Massachusetts State Police who served him with a subpoena related to the ongoing investigation into the murder of Odin Lloyd.  One of the officials told him "It's all about a grand jury investigation.  Make sure you arrive".  Pouncey appeared confused.

The subpoena that is related to the Aaron Hernandez case does not mean that Pouncey is being accused of any wrongdoing.  It just means that they want to question him in order to advance their case against Aaron Hernandez.

Mike Pouncey and his brother Pittsburgh Steelers player Maurkice Pouncey have played together football with Hernandez at the University of Florida.  When Hernandez was arrested in July for the shooting death of Odin Lloyd the brothers were seen wearing hats that said  "Free Hernandez".  Maurkice has apologized for it however Mike refused to comment.  Hernandez was released by the Patriots right after his arrest.  He is being held without bail.
