NFL In Court Again
"Bees are to honey like court cases are to the NFL" . Well almost. In the past year the NFL has been very busy in the courtroom fighting a lawsuit from former football players that claim it hid the dangers of concussions. The NFL claims that they always reacted to the information that they had on hand. Now they need to defend themselves against a group of former players that claim the NFL has used their names and images without their consent to promote the league. The group of players including David Casper, Ron Yary, Tom Mack, Curley Culp, and John Riggins claim that although the NFL has included a clause in the contract since 1993 to use images and names it wasn't included in their contracts. They claim that it wasn't even used to do certain business deals. Hopefully the NFL won't have to fight any more suits in court because if they will they will have to rent out permanent space in the courtroom.
