Seattle Seahawks receiver Percy Harvin tweeted on Tuesday night that he will be requiring hip surgery. After feeling uncomfortable during a workout it was reported that he had a possible slight tear in his labrum of his hip.
Seattle Seahawks doctors cleared him for practice however he wanted a second opinion first. He saw Dr. Bryan Kelly on Tuesday and was told that he would have to undergo surgery. Surgery is scheduled for Thursday and will be done in New York. The estimated timetable for recover is three to four months. If he has his surgery this week then the earliest that he will be able to return will be in November.
