OJ Simpson Will Stay In Jail Despite Winning Parole

On Wednesday OJ Simpson was granted parole however he will still have to sit for at least another four years before he can go free.  The former NFL superstar is serving a 33 year sentence from charges of a 2007 incident in which he was involved.  He was charged with two kidnapping and burglary charges and burglary with a firearm for trying to get back sports memorabilia at a Las Vegas hotel  from dealers which he claimed was his.  The disgraced football players told commissioners at the parole hearing that he regrets what he has done and is currently a model inmate.  He also is requested a new trial in May since his is claiming that his former lawyer did not do his job well.  Clark County District Judge Linda Marie Bell is still supposed to rule whether or not to allow it.
