Richard Sherman from
Seattle Seahawks tested positive last year for Adderall. He appealed his case saying that there were some testing errors and won the case. Recently he claimed that he thinks the
NFL should legalize the drug since half of the
players take it anyways. The
NFL quickly responded that the comment was extremely irresponsible since it ignored the serious medical conditions that can result from taking this and similar drugs. They also claimed that if it is true that half of the
players take the drugs they would have easily detected it through testing leading to a lot more suspensions.
