Dan Snyder has been the Redskins owner the past few years and has turned the team into a financial success. From the $750 million dollars that he bought it for it has turned into a team worth $1.7 billion the third in the NFL. However Snyder has only produced four winning seasons in the past 15 years which is disappointing to many fans. In addition there is friction between him and his head coach Mike Shanahan. There are also some fans that are upset the way he has handled the name change controversy.
All this has led the person who is behind the Momofuku restaurants to tweet on Monday "I'm going to
try and raise $6 billion on @kikstarter to buy @redskins from Dan Snyder. I'm serious who's coming with me?" Only time will tell if he successful or not.
