Case Against NCAA Dismissed

The anti trust case against the NCAA that was filed by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett was dismissed on Thursday.  Judge Yvette Kane ruled that although the complaint raises some questions it still does not fall into the anti trust category.  The lawsuit was filed in January after the NCAA imposed strict sanctions against Penn State University after the Jerry Sandusky was found guilty of child abuse.  They were fined with a hefty $60 million,  four year bowl ban, scholarship limitations and more.  The governor claimed that the NCAA violated the anti trust rules by imposing these sanctions.
