Manti Te'o Prefers A Social Life To Social Media

Notre Dame Linebacker Manti Te'o was a victim that was played against  him.  He was fooled into thinking that he had an online girlfriend. The only contact that he had with her was through social media and the phone.   It all ended when she supposedly died on the same day as his grandmother.  Te'o has closed his Twitter account for now and has decided to focus on football for now.  He has quite a strong support group at the IMG Academy.  Apparently at least one of them has said that he has had a similair experience when he was 16 years old though it didn’t go too far.
