Junior Seau was a star linebacker for San Diego, Miami, and New England for 20 NFL seasons until he retired in 2009. He commited suicide a little later. The autopsy revealed that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephlalopathy or CTE. This is a brain disease that is caused by "exposure to repetitive head injuries." In order to be protected a good quality football helmet should be worn at all time.
